Liz Grant is a highly experienced Business Development specialist with an extensive background in business programme leadership. Liz has gained this through her 33 years in the IT industry, much of this working for IBM in a broad range of sales and management roles across all facets of their product portfolio.
Liz is an associate of Executive Change, a specialist consultancy & research group which focuses much of its efforts on business development in the IT industry. She has delivered a variety of different client programmes for them. Working at senior executive level Liz is a highly experienced facilitator. Her work has been with IBM, HP Enterprise, Fujitsu and others. She has been engaged with Cisco client executive programmes for several years. On behalf of her clients, she chairs senior client and partner executive forums at the EMEA level. From this work she provides insights to develop the sales and operational strategy of her clients and to building the capability of their client teams.
During a two year secondment from IBM to the UK Governement’s Department of Trade & Industry (now Business Innovation and Skills), Liz led the highly successful ‘uk online for business’ programme. The experience gave her key insights to public sector culture and operations, to managing complex stakeholders and the opportunity to lead a diverse and broad team of talented people.
Liz has a BA from the University of Auckland (double major in English Literature and History). She has a post-graduate Diploma of Education from Auckland College of Education. She was made an Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) by Her Majesty the Queen and the UK Government in 2013 for services to workplace equality.
