Permasteelisa is the international leader in building the facades of the most challenging buildings. The company employees more that 6000 people on 4 continents with 18 production facilities distributed world-wide.

Permasteelisa Group changed the strategy in 2007 and decided to move from being a collection of independently managed organizations to a more centrally managed corporation. This was done to leverage the global supply chain and to guarantee the same quality of products world-wide.

This new strategy required a strong central coordination and IT and processes is fundamental for the services that provides, but more-over to drive, teach and enforce the commonality of processes and WOW (way of working).

March 2005 to April 2007 CIO – Alessi

The role centered on the delivery of a new sales strategy after the rebranding. This involved the introduction of a new solution to exploit the Multichannel approach.

January 2000 to March 2005 European ERP Director, CIO Italy Glaxo Smith Kline:

  • Designed, funded and managed the largest SAP CRM project in Italy and the biggest in EU in the Pharmaceutical Sector

  • Moved European users from bespoke solution into a new standard approach – team implemented a complete Linux based platform with a massive cost reduction

  • Responsible for the European rationalization of IT services in Europe (TOP-IT project).
